#RelationshipTalks: Is it right to raise your hand on your girlfriend/wife who insulted you in public?

Good day viewers Mr.Thomas needs your advice on this issue he is having with his girlfriend. Below was the mail he sent to us this morning, please read it to the end and drop your comments on what he should do.

Dear Lilian Naija,
My name is Thomas Tilla , your blog is new but i really love your articles so far, am really concerned about this issue and i believe you can help out on this.

My girlfriend is really annoying this days and i cant tolerate her anymore, quite fine i really love her but this her annoying attitude is making me lose it.

Last week we went out together to an eatery and i eventually saw my old time school mate and crush  named GLORIA whom have not seen for a 4 months after our graduation from the university, so when i sighted Gloria from afar in the eatery i decided to hi her since its been quite a long time we saw each other and am still crushing on her. I introduced her to my girlfriend and the look on her face was not encouraging, but i pretended not to see that. Gloria gave me a shocking hug and kissed me on my cheeks in my girlfriend's presence.

After Gloria left she began to make some silly questions like "Am i not beautiful enough?" and other silly questions, i was shocked the next thing was she began to cry i was so pathetic i told her i love her and that she was the best girlfriend i have on earth.

Yesterday being Sunday after church i decided we go out same incident occurred and she started calling me a womanizer in public i ignored her but she kept on screaming that i  have broke her heart and that i don't love her anymore.

As a hot tempered guy i raised my hands and slap her to keep quiet since she kept on making unnecessary noise with her shouting.

My question are
  • Do you think she still loves me?
  • Should continue with her?
  • Will the relationship last?
  • Should i go for Gloria?
  • Does Gloria love me?
Thanks as you reply me
Mr.Thomas
